The Windows 10 do not have Recent Places or Recent Places in the File Explorer navigation window, like Window 8 and Windows 7.
Instead of this feature, it has the group "Recent files" or "Recent files" in the quick access folder.
This feature is not at all convenient for those who used access to Recent Posts with one click from the navigation pane.
Below we will see how to add the Recent Posts to the left of the File Explorer window in Windows 10.
To add Recent Locations to the left window of File Explorer in Windows 10, you should follow these steps:
Press the keys together Win + R to open a RUN window.
Type the following in the window you just opened:

shell: Recently
Press the key Enter.
The command is a special shell command and will open the Recent items folder in File Explorer:
Press the keys together Alt + Up together to go to the Recent Items parent folder in File Explorer
Right-click the Recent Items folder and pin it to the Quick Access menu.
That's it. You recovered the Recent Places to the right of File Explorer.
George is still wondering what he is doing here….
