This is of course a secret because it is not yet official. Apparently Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 has reached General Availability, and now it is a matter of marketing when it will be officially released. Michael Larabel reported to Phoronix around midnight that those with customer accounts with Red Hat can download, install or upgrade to RHEL 10.
“Red Hat has not officially announced the availability of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10.0 GA, but it will be imminent,” Larabel said . “The official release of RHEL 10.0 was expected ahead of the Red Hat Summit taking place May 19-22 in Boston.”
If this is true, and if Red Hat waits until the start of this year's Red Hat Summit in Boston on Monday to make its official announcement, we might see one or two of the RHEL clones ( AlmaLinux and Rocky Linux ) release copies of RHEL10 before Red Hat's official announcement.
There is other evidence to support Larabel's report. For example, some users on Reddit reported that download links briefly appeared publicly and then disappeared from Red Hat's website, although they are still available to the company's customers.
