Chinese company Xiaomi has just announced its latest phone, the Redmi Note 12, which can be fully charged in nine minutes!
As technology has evolved we've seen mobile charging speeds drop to an already impressive 30 minutes or less, but Xiaomi has shaken things up by bringing the time down to nine minutes.
The new Redmi Note 12 series which was presented yesterday by the company distinguished Redmi Note 12 Discovery Edition with an amazing 210 W HyperCharge capability. This function is controlled by three 100 W fast charging chips, which fully charge the phone's 4.300 mAh battery in just 9 minutes!.
The phone has other top-notch features like a 200MP main camera with Samsung's all-new HPIS sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP macro camera and a 16MP selfie camera. Other features include dual SIM slots, dual speakers, 3,5mm headphone jack, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, NFC, infrared blaster and Android 12.
Also in the lineup is the smaller but similar Redmi Note 12 Pro, which sports a 50MP primary camera and only uses 67W charging for the same 5.000mAh battery.
As with all recent Redmi phones, there's a good chance these new models will hit international markets later, so you'll have to be patient.
