To get started, you will need:
- The Install.wim file from the Windows 8 installation disc
- Time
- And of course a Windows 8 or 8.1 computer
Warning
If you have already created a Custom Recovery Image, then it is recommended not to proceed. By using the install.wim file, all 3rd party programs will be uninstalled.
Let's start.
We assume that your operating system is installed in C: /
1. On disk C :, create a new folder named refresh. If prompted, click to continue.
2. From DVD or DVD USB installation Windows 8 open the folder sources and look for the file install.wim.
3. Select and copy the install.wim file.
