The latest version of Chakra Linux OS 2016.02 was named “Ian” in the μνήμη by Ian Murdock, the founder of Debian.
Its developersChakra Linux they wanted to priceare Ian Murdock giving the name Ian to the first version of their operating system for 2016. The distribution is based on KDE and incorporates the latest packages available at the time of its creation, while providing a unique surface work that you won't find anywhere else.
The new version does not have significant changes, but it offers an updated stable operating system. It can be considered a maintenance release that provides all the fixes and updates that occurred during the last 3 months since its previous release.
In accordance with changelog, the KDE packages: Plasma 5.5.4, Frameworks 5.19.0, Applications 15.12.2, and Calligra 2.9.11 have been integrated. Linux kernel has been upgraded to version 4.2.6 and systemd to version 228.

The operating system is based on Arch Linux, but can also be used by beginners.
