Μια εταιρεία ασφάλειας από τις ΗΠΑ αναφέρει ότι έχει συγκεντρώσει data that prove the Russian government is spying on hundreds of American, European and Asian companies. It is the first time Moscow has been linked to cyber attacks for financial – rather than political – gain.
According to the company, CrowdStrike, victims of the cyber espionage campaign include businesses from her field energy and technology.
CrowdStrike refused to enter details about these company losses or report any victims, citing research-related confidentiality agreements.
Officials from the Russian Ministry of the Interior did not comment on the incident, as he says Reuters.
"These attacks appear to have been motivated by the Russian government's interest in helping domestic industry to remain competitive in key areas of national importance," he said. Dmitri Alperovitch, head of technology at CrowdStrike, at Reuters on Tuesday night.
Of course, we can not be sure of anything anymore, since we do not know who financed the research conducted by CrowdStrike. As all the spying actions between countries show, it is a very cloudy landscape. The truth is hidden in the secret service drawers, and those that come to the fore with various publications are controlled.
