Reuters: Reviews for Apple Watch are disappointing

: Apple's "beautiful" and "modern" SmartWatch (Apple Watch) seems to be getting very bad reviews from reviewers for battery life and slow app loading.

The SmartWatch is the first new one which will be unveiled by Apple CEO Tim Cook and will hit the markets on April 24.apple watch

“For now, the Apple is for pioneers,” wrote Wall Street's Geoffrey Fowler . "I'm not going to pay $1.000 for the model I tested, only to see some major improvement come after a very long time."

All the reviews published today Wednesday report the poor battery life of the device - up to 18 hours, according to Apple - and the applications that take a long time to load.

"There is almost nothing I can do faster or better than a laptop or a phone other than maybe checking the time," wrote Nilay Patel, who did the review for theverge.com.

To load an application, it takes the clock to pull huge amounts of data from connected devices such as iPhone, said Patel, adding that Apple had reported that in upcoming software updates it would deal with performance issues.

Re / Code's Lauren Goode said the Apple Watch's battery life was not as long as some other wireless systems. CNET's Scott Stein said the battery charge time was slow.

The software is "complex" and not suitable for tech novices - unusual for an Apple device, said Farhad Manjoo, who reviewed the watch for the paper. .

"If you can tolerate the one-day battery life, poorly designed applications and the inevitable devaluation, you can now wear the future on your wrist," Fowler told the Journal.

Well, all of this, however, Societe Generale analysts reported that Apple is expected to sell 8 millions Apple Watches 2015, earning 4 billions of dollars.
