A special security incident was revealed when two famous Russian pranksters Vovan & Lexus published a video of a video conference with Thanos Dokos. The National Security Advisor of Greece believed that he was talking to the national security advisor of the Ukrainian president.

Thanos Dokos is a Greek academic in international relations, serving since October 2020 as the second National Security Advisor of Greece, in the Cabinet of Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

During the discussion, reference was made to the recent incident with the Ukrainian drone off Lefkada, and his interlocutors, pretending to be Ukrainian officials, hinted that they could not rule out the repetition of a similar incident near Greek islands.

The national security adviser appears to be expressing his concern about the impact that a new incident would have on Greek territory, especially in the midst of the tourist season, noting that Greece understands the needs imposed by the war, but does not wish for it to be transferred to its territorial waters.

In the video below released by the pranksters, there is also reference to the upcoming Greek elections, with Thanos Dokos estimating that a similar event would create serious political difficulties for the government.

At the same time, he appears to point out that a serious crisis in relations between Greece and Ukraine could negatively affect the cohesion of both NATO and the European Union, at a time when Kiev needs the support of all its allies.
