Rocky Linux, a new Linux distribution created from the Red Hat Enterprise Linux source code. It is the distribution that all its frustrated users wanted CentOS, as its development as an LTS abruptly ended him December of 2020.
The project is led by CentOS founder Gregory Kurtzer, and has announced the first release candidate for the upcoming 8.3 version:

This release is the culmination of months of hard work from every corner of the community. It started in a comment thread on a Red Hat blog in December 2020 and became a community of over ten thousand members on a Slack channel in a matter of days.
