Rufus 3.19 Beta Windows 11 without Microsoft account

Η 3.19 Beta of Rufus, a small portable tool for creating bootable USB drives, now includes support for Windows To Go USBs.

It supports many new features that improve the installation process of the Windows 11 operating system. In particular, it allows you to skip the mandatory use of a Windows 11 account at the first boot of the system but also to set the answers to "do not allow" when Windows asks for information for privacy.

Rufus

The Rufus is a popular, lightweight tool, to create bootable Flash drives, e.g. to install Windows or Linux on another computer system.

The process is very simple: launch Rufus, select an image ISO that you want to use to create the bootable flash drive, connect the flash drive to your computer and press the launch button to start the process. Rufus offers several configuration options, e.g. to select the GPT or MBR partition scheme or system on the flash drive.

Use the application if:

  • Do you want to create bootable USB installation media from ISO (Windows, Linux, UEFI, etc.)
  • you want to work on a system that does not have an operating system installed
  • you want to flash the BIOS or some other firmware from DOS
  • do you want to run a utility (low-level)
