Rufus released ALPHA version for Windows 11 24H2

The developer of Rufus reiterated today that the upcoming version of the utility will make it much easier to bypass Windows 11 version 24H2 requirements for in-place upgrades.screenshot 2024 10 07 16 03 18

Note that with the next version of Rufus, you'll be able to simply double-click setup.exe to perform in-place upgrades, as the application will create a wrapper around setup.exe that will apply the registry overrides before performing the initial installation that set by Microsoft

If you are in a hurry to try it out, you can download the upcoming beta version of Rufus which will be released very soon.
