Russia and Turkey together to break the iPhone of the terrorist

The Turkish one seized an iPhone used by the terrorist who killed the Russian ambassador to , Andrei Karlov and apparently trying to crack the 4-digit code protecting it.

MacReports reports that the device was an iPhone 4s with an unknown of iOS. Turkish investigators are trying to crack open the device to gain access to stored information for any evidence of terrorist activity inside the country.

Cracking the iPhone's security has proven to be particularly difficult, with the FBI itself trying unsuccessfully last year to crack the device used by one of San's terrorists . If you remember the FBI had then asked Apple for help as it could not unlock the device, but Cupertino refused to open the iPhone.iphone

This time, it is not yet clear whether Turkey contacts Apple to help with the research, but even if it comes, Cupertino will probably refuse any help.

All efforts have been unsuccessful so far, but the two countries will not give up until they crack the iPhone.

What is important to note is that iPhome 4S is much easier to tamper with as it does not use the advanced encryption systems available on the latest iPhones. It is likely that an old iOS version will run, and security experts could export the stored data.
