The rumors about the Samsung Galaxy A8 have already begun to circulate, but the company of South Korea has not revealed anything about the new smartphone. But according to the rumors, the Galaxy A8 is expected to be the thinnest Android Samsung smartphone since it will be only 5,9 millimeters thick.
Today the website SamMobile posted more information on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A8.
It seems Samsung will supply the device with a new 16-megapixel camera with ISOCELL sensor. According to the above-mentioned source, the camera sensor (LSI3P3) that will come with the Samsung Galaxy AxNUMX will have a pixel size of 8 μm.
Also, the camera thickness will be reduced by 5 mm, thinner by 23% from Sony's IMX240 camera included in Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
This is probably one of the reasons why Samsung Galaxy 8 will only have 5,9 millimeters thick making the device one of the thinnest that the South Korean company will release.
For those unaware of the previous rumors, the Galaxy A8 will be a phablet with a Super AMOLED screen 5,7 inches that will support full HD resolution (1080p) with 386ppi (pixels per inch).
Inside, there will be a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage space.
On the front there will be a 5 megapixel camera for selfies as well as calls video.
We also know that the smartphone will be powered by an 3050 mAh battery and run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with the latest version of the TouchWiz UI.
