Η Samsung with her message on Twitter announced that the next-generation smartphone will be unveiled next month, on February 20, in San Francisco.
This date is a few days before Mobile World Congress 2019, scheduled to take place in Barcelona. The launch is also expected to take place on Samsung's official website.
The Galaxy S10 series is expected to have at least four models so far. A lite version that will also be called the Galaxy S10 E, the regular Galaxy S10 Edge, the Galaxy S10 Plus, and the Galaxy S10 5G. Samsung is also expected to announce at the event, a new Galaxy watch as well as its growing smartphone.
These models will differ in features and of course in prices. Logically it will be:
- Samsung Galaxy S10 E: flat screen 5.8” FHD+, dual camera, single front camera, 3100mAh battery and a price of €700
- Samsung Galaxy S10 Edge: 6.1 ”QHD + curved screen, triple camera, single front camera, 3500mAh battery and price at € 950
- Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus: 6.4 ”QHD + curved screen, triple camera, dual front camera, 4000mAh battery and price at € 1250
- Samsung Galaxy S10 5G: curved screen 6.7 ”QHD +, triple or quad camera, dual front camera, 5000mAh battery and price at € 1500
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the S series and is expected to be a big event. Although the official presentation will take place in February, the phone will most likely be released in March. However, listings and pre-orders can start immediately after presentation.
