While it remains unclear what the glitch could cause, it seems that the problem still exists in the Galaxy S8 and in the slightly larger Galaxy S8 +.
Some users feel that the problem may be due to malfunction of the microSD card, and others report that the error persists even after removing the SD card.
One user claims that Samsung's customer service has recommended that S8 be started in safe mode, indicating that abrupt reboots may be the result of issues related to third-party applications.
The page Android Authority states that "it is not uncommon for smartphones to require one or two reboots as they come out of the box", but this is not the case with Reddit, XDA Developers and Samsung's page.
Meanwhile, Samsung has already begun running software that is supposed to repair the red hue on the device screen. So the company from South Korea could later release a similar solution to the issue of restarting the Samsung Galaxy S8 if it turns out to be software and not hardware.
