Samsung Galaxy S8: First of all, according to the rumors, you should say goodbye to the headphone jack. The latest news indicates that Samsung is ready to leave behind the 3,5 mm headphone port, but also that it is preparing to design a screen without home button.
The latest leaks also mention dual stereo speakers, Samsung's AI digital assistant, unusual front features and a price that can surprise you.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 is bound to be released at the beginning of 2017. The current scenarios are three:
- Announcement on February 26
- Much faster traffic than the dates we knew so far (due to explosions)
- Or it could be delayed until April.
The release of the Samsung Galaxy S8 will not just be a device release as the company wants to restore its reputation and damages to its finances with the Samsung Galaxy S7 explosions.
This can be interpreted in two ways: or will try to quickly release the Samsung Galaxy S8 by trying to repaire the damage of its predecessor, or it will delay trying to launch an excellent device on the market.
My opinion is (with what I know so far about Samsung) that it will follow the first scenario.
In the past two years, the company has been accustomed to presenting the device before the Mobile World Congress starts and the MWC 2017 starts on February 27. This means we will probably see the Samsung Galaxy S8 official launch on 26 in February.
You will not be able to get the Samsung Galaxy S8 after one or two weeks, we could say until 13 March.
According to other press releases, the Samsung Galaxy S8 may be featured during the Consumer Electronics Show 2017 to be held in January.
The phone could be released (according to other sources) in April as Samsung tries to find and correct the error that leads to the device's battery bursts.
In a publication by The Verge, it is reported that Samsung plans to disable all controversial Galaxy Note 7 in the US.
According to the publication, the company plans to release an update to prevent the device from exploding. The update is reported to be released on December 15, however, the company has not officially announced anything.
