Η SAP SE and Lenovo announced a multilateral partnership for the development of cloud systems in China, the creation of innovations between the SAP HANA® platform and systems Lenovo and the joint promotion of trade programs in world markets.
The agreement aims to significantly strengthen existing co-operation between the two companies, but also to combine SAS® solutions and Lenovo data center solutions to deliver technology products that can help organizations evolve into flexible businesses in the digital world.
Business and IT leaders are constantly looking for new solutions to improve productivity and efficiency, reduce complexity and capture value in the digital economy. The cooperation will include:
• Further strengthen joint implementation of actions that will involve the development of innovative cloud solutions in China
• Introducing new vanguards between SAN HANA and Lenovo systems to discover and identify new technologies that address the needs of the digital economy. This move will also result in the use of Lenovo systems by Sap as a server infrastructure.
• The joint execution of commercial programs, including integrated systems, as well as collaborators to present these technologies to their common customers. This will also include the introduction of common differentiation solutions at Lenovo's Innovation Centers in Stuttgart, Germany, Morrisville, North Carolina and another center to be opened soon in Beijing.
Lenovo and Sap have a proven track record of cooperation. SAP is based on Lenovo's systems to meet some of its most demanding applications, including their own development environment solutions, as well as the Cloud system of SAN HANA. SAP is also known as Lenovo's ERP provider, which has developed a variety of business solutions such as SAP Business Suite, SAP Planning and Consolidation, and Sap Hana. Lenovo estimates that implementation of SAP solutions has improved 45 times in performance reporting and 50 times in data loading.
