Η Seagate just presented her latest product: a new 60TB SSD hard drive. Is unit with the largest capacity in the world, as it has four times the capacity of Samsung's latest 15TB drive.
Of course it is not for the general public. The company presented the device as a solution for data centers that need reliable units for long-term data storage, and hopes 2017 will be released sometime.
Probably one disc of such capacity will not be cheap. For comparison purposes, SSD of Samsung's 15TB SSD, which was released earlier this month, costs 10.000 dollars.
The disc was presented during the Flash Memory Summit in Santa Clara, California.
