H Seagate is preparing to market a hard drive capacity 6 Terabytes, which according to the press reports will launches in the market second semester of the year.
That particular model will be the company's first in this capacity, and is expected to be released in June.
This is a model 3,5 inch of new series Constellation ES.3 Megalodon contains 6 platters of 1TB each but it is still unclear whether it will be SATA or SATA SAS, or will be available in both versions.
Η Western Digital has already had a 6TB capacity model on the market since November, the HGST Ultrastar He6 which instead of air inside it has gas helium.
