Το Sejda είναι ένα δωρεάν, online πολυεργαλείο που κάνει τα πάντα σε pdf αρχεία. Και το κυριότερο: κάνει πραγματική επεξεργασία.
Sejda is a PDF editing tool with OCR capability. You can work with it either online without installing anything, or by downloading the program, which supports macOS, Windows and Linux devices.
Sejda can be said to do it all. It allows users to compress, merge, edit, fill, convert and sign PDF documents.
Files in various formats including JPG, Excel, Word, PPT and more can be converted to PDF and vice versa. Sejda is available in multiple languages including English, Spanish, German, Japanese, French and more.
With Sejda, users can rotate, resize, crop and delete pages from PDF files. Many elements can also be added to pages, including images, headers/footers, watermarks, and more. Sejda offers password encryption settings to protect sensitive documents.
PDF forms can be converted to images to prevent text from being copied or modified. Other features include metadata editing, image extraction, file stripping, PDF to grayscale conversion, and more.
And the most important: It has a real pdf editing function. If your pdf is not an image but text, it can recognize it and allows you to edit it, even if it is in Greek. Be careful, we are not talking about adding text but editing the already existing one. Of course, if you want, you can also add.
And since free tools of this kind are rare on the internet, we thought it would be good for you to know until at least this one changes policy and becomes a paid program like so many others.
Its free version (so far) supports 3 files per day, up to 50Mb or 200 pages. OCR reads up to 10 pages, images must be up to 5Mb and can convert files one at a time.
We said let's do two simple but basic tests to see how it will respond. So we asked him to make the iguru page a pdf file (html tp pdf).
We did not ask to download the result but to process it online. He gave us this page:
And from there on things were simple. Besides being able to add whatever text we wanted wherever we wanted, we managed to falsify the text of the first image, really easily.
Because pdf editors offer their services for free until they at least gain a sufficient clientele, Sejda is currently titled as a beta version and offers you a good sufficiency of features in its free version. Take advantage of it while you can.
