The Siduction distribution is a functional one system desktop based on its “unstable” branch Debian GNU/Linux. It has been forked since late 2011, and offers many different desktop live dvd's. So you'll find flavors in KDE, LXQt, GNOME, Cinnamon, MATE, XFCE, LXDE, and X.Org.
The project promises regular updates, an open development model, a very friendly community, and a direct developer relationship.
Today Ferdinand Thommes announced the release of Siduction 17.1.0. in KDE, LXQt, GNOME, Cinnamon, MATE, XFCE, LXDE, X.Org and noX flavors. The fact that Debian uses “Stretch” allows the release of new applications (scripts) and scripts.
Upgraded distribution features a brand new installer and a custom-patched version of Linux Kernel 4.10. Supports X.Org server 1.19.2 and systemd 232.
