The Dark Web got another version, Silk Road today. The famous drug market is back with version 3.0. The new site was announced via a Reddit thread a few hours ago, by the operator of the competitive Crypto market Market. In fact the two sites share the same support forum, which is also hosted on the Dark Web.
Registrations on the new website are open today and the "shelves" of the market have already started to be filled with stolen data, exploits, botnets, drugs, weapons, and anything else that is illegal and not in public circulation.
The Silk Road 2.0 came in November of 2013, but the federations quickly captured the managers a month later.
In November of 2014 someone tried to bring Silk Road back once again, but by January of 2016, the site was closed after it failed to attract new users.
Probably this effort is doomed, as with the publicity and the history of the takedowns that have the two Silk Road, which criminal would want to connect to the site?
What may change this time is the reputation of the owner of the Crypto Market page, it has been running for quite some time without episodes.
Currently, the most popular Dark Web markets include the following names:
Alphabay, Dream Market, The Real Deal, Zocalo, Valhalla, Hansa Market, Acropolis, Python Market, Oasis Market, Bloomsfield, German-Plaza, Darknet Heroes League, The Majestic Garden, Crypto Market, and more.
