Microsoft has just released an updated version of Skype for Windows desktop, and although the company hasn't made the release notes available, it's believed to fix a bug that was showing "up down" messages.
At the end of December, Microsoft decided to stop making Skype version 7.17.0.105 available by recommending to users to download the previous version.
The new version has build number 7.17.32.106, and probably includes several performance improvements.
As of now, Microsoft hasn't said anything official about this new version, and according to the company's new update policy, we don't expect any change log.
In the meantime, as with any update, immediate is recommended installation of the new application.
