As we mentioned in our previous article last week, the official Skype blog and social media Facebook and Twitter accounts had been knocked down by Syrian Electronic Army.
Even if the Microsoft remove them immediately messages of the hackers left on the hacked pages, the Skype blog remained offline until today.
It is now online for all users, and in a short message on the said blog, Microsoft reiterates that no user information was compromised during the attacks.
“On January 1, 2014, we had a targeted cyber attack that led to access to Skype's social media, Facebook, Twitter and this blog. Immediately restore the credentials used to manage these websites. No user information was compromised, and the service of Skype was not affected” he says the Microsoft statement .
