Microsoft has recently released a new update for Skype for Linux Alpha bringing a very long-awaited feature and many bug fixes.
The new Skype for Linux Alpha 1.13 may still be in alpha, but it (finally) brings support for SMS. So all Linux users using the application will now be able to send SMS directly from their computers.
This feature was one of the most sought after features since the development of the new Skype for Linux.
At the same time, the new version of Skype also brings an update to the Electron in version 1.4.7, and according to Microsoft the app includes a better bug and problem reporting service.
