Microsoft has recently released a new update for Skype for Linux Alpha bringing a very long-awaited feature and many bug fixes.
The new Skype for Linux Alpha 1.13 may still be alpha, but it does (at last) support SMS. So all Linux users using the application will now be able to send SMS directly from their computers.
This feature was one of the most sought after features since the development of the new Skype for Linux.
At the same time, the new version of Skype also provides an update for Electron in the 1.4.7 version, and according to Microsoft, the application includes a better bug reporting and troubleshooting service.
