Skype has just released two apps that support its new group video calling feature. Applications are available already for Appliances with iOS (iPhone, iPad) but also for Android devices.
The news was just announced by the company on her blog.
Although apps have been released, functionality is currently only for users in Western Europe and North America.
Skype reports that the roll-out of the new feature will be completed in the above areas from next week and according to the company, there is planning to be available worldwide from March.
The new feature will allow video calls with 25 participants, broadcasts in 1080p, and will have the ability to switch between front and back cameras.
