Τι είναι το SLACKEL: It is a Linux distribution and LiveCD based on Slackware and Salix. It is fully compatible with Slackware and Salix but the difference is that it includes the current version of Slackware and the latest version of KDE in its repositories.
So Slackware and Salix users can take advantage of Slackel's repositories to use the latest version of KDE. Two versions, installation version, and LiveCD are available.
Slackel is being developed by Dimitris Tzemos.

According to the Greek developer who announced the new version of the Slackel distribution 04.14.21 "KDE Live", the new operating system is available in two architectures 32 and 64-bit and the 64-bit version supports UEFI.
The 32-bit version is developed for machines with or without PAE processors. The new version includes a script that will help users install the distribution in modules flash USB, as well as several package updates.
Some of the programs included in ISO images: Linux kernel 4.4.23, Thunderbird 45.4.0, Firefox 45.4.0esr, FileZilla 3.16.1, gFTP 2.0.19, Pidgin 2.11.0, GIMP 2.8.18, LibreOffice 5.2.2 etc.
