Hackers have revealed that there is a security gap (backdoor cuts) which allows trapping of the devices.
A startling revelation was made in congress hack held in Hamburg. As it became known there is a security gap in telecommunications systems that allows someone with the necessary knowledge and skills to trap a mobile phone και να ακούει τις συνομιλίες του κατόχου της συσκευής αλλά και να διαβάζει τα γραπτά μηνύματα που στέλνει και δέχεται.
The security gap was found in one system codenamed SS7, a system used by many major telecommunications companies in the world (AT&T, Verizon, etc.) to route their customers' calls and messages.
A basic function of this system is to transfer the signal from one antenna to the next one when the owner of a mobile phone speaks while moving quickly if, for example, he is speaking while inside a car. Companies are understandably looking for ways to find a solution to the problem.
