The Backdoor of smartphones

Hackers have revealed that there is a security gap () which allows trapping of the devices.

Backdoor Backdoor

A startling revelation was made in hack held in Hamburg. As it became known there is a security gap in telecommunications systems that allows someone with the necessary knowledge and skills to trap a και να ακούει τις συνομιλίες του κατόχου της συσκευής αλλά και να διαβάζει τα γραπτά μηνύματα που στέλνει και δέχεται.

The security gap was found in one codenamed SS7, a system used by many major telecommunications companies in the world (AT&T, Verizon, etc.) to route their customers' calls and messages.

A basic function of this system is to transfer the signal from one antenna to the next one when the owner of a mobile phone speaks while moving quickly if, for example, he is speaking while inside a car. Companies are understandably looking for ways to find a solution to the problem.
