The free open-source, and cross-platform SMPlayer video player was updated in 16.11. The new version adds two new features and corrects various bugs reported by users of the stable version of 16.9.
Two months after the release of SMPlayer 16.9, the new 16.11 release promises a new option called "Show OSD Information." The new option is available in the OSD View - menu path.
"The current SMPlayer menu is not designed to handle many functions, however, the playlist can easily support hundreds of thousands of files," says one developer in the release of the new release.
The second feature that comes with the new SMPlayer 16,11 is the additional options in the Playlist Preferences - allowing users to control the behavior of the playlist better than before. For example, you can make the playlist suitable for bookmark storage.
The new SUMPlayer 16.11 is a recommended update for everyone.
