The free open-source, cross-platform video player SMPlayer has been updated to version 23.12.0. The new version adds two new features and fixes several bugs reported by users of the previous stable version.
Two months after the release of SMPlayer 23.6, the new 23.12.0 release promises a new option called "Show OSD Information." The new option is available in the OSD View - menu path.
"The current SMPlayer menu is not designed to handle many functions, however, the playlist can easily support hundreds of thousands of files," says one developer in the release of the new release.
The second feature that comes with the new SMPlayer 16,11 is the additional options in the Playlist Preferences - allowing users to control the behavior of the playlist better than before. For example, you can make the playlist suitable for bookmark storage.
The new SUMPlayer 23.12.0 is a recommended update for everyone.
