Qualcomm has revealed yet another technological achievement in the field of mobile telephony. Qualcomm Snapdragon Smart Protect is a new technology built into Snapdragon 820 processors, and provides machine learning in real time, to effectively detect zero-day threats and malware.
The Snapdragon 820 chipset της Qualcomm θα είναι ο πρώτος Processor which will support the new technology. More models are expected to follow from early next year.
According to the manufacturer of the chipset, Snapdragon Smart Protect will be the first chipset to use Qualcomm Zeroth technology to enhance conventional anti-malware solutions.
The feature Snapdragon Smart Protect comes to complement signature-based anti-malware in analyzing and detecting new threats.
Qualcomm also reports that OEMs and Companies security and mobile anti-malware app developers will be able to use Snapdragon Smart Protect through an API.
The company also confirmed that Snapdragon Smart Protect is a feature included in the Qualcomm Haven security suite.
The Qualcomm Haven security app offers consumers Snapdragon Sense ID 3D with fingerprint technology, Snapdragon StudioAccess for content protection and SafeSwitch technology.
The new Snapdragon Smart Protect will be available to consumers from 2016, the Snapdragon 820 processor will be available on the market as well.
