If you have not already done so, please take some time to try the Screen Sketch application and learn how it works. The Screen Sketch app will provide you with all the features of the cropping tool with additional enhancements. You can start the application immediately, or just press WIN + Shift + S, click on the back of your stylus or press the Print Screen key.
The Snipping Tool displays a notification stating that it will be removed in a future update.
