The trailer of his film was released today Oliver Stone "Snowden" which as you understand refers to the acquaintance Edward Snowden.
The film will be released on September 16 this fall, and we will see him Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Edward Snowden, Shailene Woodley as Lindsay Mills (Snowden's girlfriend), Zachary Quinto as Glenn Greenwald, and Nicolas Cage, Melissa Leo, Rhys Ifans, Tom Wilkinson, and Timothy Olyphant in secondary roles.
The action of the film focuses on Snowden's life and what led him to intercept the NSA secret files, and why he leaked all the details of a massive US intelligence oversight campaign.
Snowden advertised the video on Twitter with:
"For two minutes and thirty-nine seconds, everything at the NSA stopped working.”
The trailer presents information we did not know so far: what method did Snowden use to extract the data from the NSA headquarters.
