Softaculous announced a security breach in their infrastructure. The company states:

“We detected unauthorized access to some of them our servers. We took immediate steps to secure our infrastructure, isolate and protect our customers' data and work with experts."

The company also reports that none of its customers' servers are affected by this incident. Softaculous, Virtualizor and Webuzo v3 server software products are regularly reviewed by third parties and experts in security with each new version released. Softaculous immediately started an additional audit of all the software available to its customers.

Loginizer, Pagelayer, wpcentral, Backuply, and Popularfx are not affected.

All servers that hosted customer names, addresses, license information, and hashed customer account passwords are not affected. Also no credit card information is stored.

Of course the company recommends its customers to change passwords or authentication details that have been shared with the group s, while the security team and experts continue to assess the nature of the problem.
