Thessaloniki Science Festival, το πρώτο φεστιβάλ στη Θεσσαλονίκη με σκοπό την επικοινωνία της επιστήμης στο ευρύ κοινό, έχει την τιμή και τη χαρά να φιλοξενήσει το Solve for X, πρότζεκτ που στοχεύει στην αντιμετώπιση παγκόσμιων προβλημάτων μέσω της επιστήμης και της τεχνολογίας.
Between experiments, workshops, interactive exhibitions and competitions, as well as interesting talks, debates, performances and screenings of films, including the Festival program, for the first time since its virgin appearance in the previous TIF, Google Developers in Thessaloniki open the doors of the project and the public.
The Google X, the most innovative and radical Google workshop, has chosen Thessaloniki and other 11 cities as the world's only cities to host Solve for X. Leading scientists, global problems and radical ideas unite to create #moonshot0.1. The eyes of everyone turn to Thessaloniki, but for yet another reason. His pan-European "premiere" will do during his Solve for X #moonshot0.1 the “Solve for X Design Sprint” which has so far only been shown in New York. The analytical program will be announced in due course.
The Thessaloniki Science Festival is organized by British Council and the Education Organization «Communication Science - SciCo» in co - organization with Municipality of Thessaloniki, The HELEXPO-TIF, The General Secretariat for Research and Technology and the Sports and Culture Multi-site WE under the aegis of Ministryof Culture, Education and Religion, the General Secretariat for Research and Technology and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. It also participates Association of Greek Physicists, University Institutions, Educational Organizations, Research and Technological Institutes as well as the largest public and private institutions in Thessaloniki.
The sections covered by the Festival include: Physics / Chemistry / Biology - Life Sciences / Geology / Mathematics / Environmental Sciences / Sustainable Development / Health Sciences / Nutrition / Astronomy and Space / Innovation & Entrepreneurship / Material Science / Robotics / / and Philosophy of Science / Science and Art.
