Difficult times for hackers: In the wake of the massive attack on Sony Pictures – which the US government continues to insist was carried out by North Korea – President Barak Obama is expected to push hard for new legislative settings that will combat online threats.
The revelations of these proposals will come early next weekteams, as an unnamed White House spokesman told reporters today, according to Reuters.
Obama will try to “improve trust in technology by addressing the attacks which aim at identity theft and its improvement protectionof consumer and student privacy" during a visit to the Federal Trade Commission.
Barak Obama will obviously push for new laws and executive power for new measures that will limit hacker actions.
As part of this cyber pressure effort next week, Obama will drop on the FTC and plan its plans on Congress and visit Iowa to push for faster and cheaper broadband connections across the country .
