Η Sony officially presented it Digital Paper, one device intended for use by lawyers, educators and entrepreneurs, aspiring to replace the use of paper.
To develop Digital Paper, Sony collaborated with company Worldox, which specializes in document management. The end result is a device with a 13,3-inch diagonal screen, which allows viewing a document, PDF format, in full size without the need to move or zoom for a better view, as is the case with smaller tablets.
Another important advantage of the device is that it reduces the need for printing, copying, sharing and transferring documents on paper, saving valuable resources.
The Digital Paper weighs approximately 357 grams and offers the user a touch screen, accompanying stylus for inputtreatment data and notes, high-contrast screen with a resolution of 1200 x 1600 pixels, without backlight and integrated E Ink Mobius technology. The device can be used comfortably under any lighting conditions.
Ο ενσωματωμένος αποθηκευτικός χώρος ανέρχεται στα 4GB ενώ υπάρχει και reception for mounting an additional SD memory card.
In addition, according to Sony, the Digital Paper battery can last up to three weeks while a classic charger or USB cable can be used to charge it.
The device will be available from next May at $ 1.100. Finally, it is worth noting that the original of the device had been presented since last May, which was given for testing and evaluation at three Japanese universities.
