Today Sony announced that the new one Morpheus VR headset will be released at the beginning of 2016.
The VR (Virtual Reality) device was presented last year at the GDC (Game Developers Conference) and because, as we learned earlier today, Sony needs more time, announced at this year's GDC that it will be released in the first half of 2016.
The device will have one screen 1920×1080 RGB OLED with 120Hz refresh rate. Its 5.7-inch screen will also feature a 100-degree field of view. Now, it will use nine LEDs for positioning. Sony also said the device has extremely low latency, which is key to a flawless experience virtualof reality.
A feature which is nice is the ability to push the headset from your face to peek into the real world without having to remove the headset completely.
