Another failure for Space X. The Falcon 9 rocket to be headed toward the International Space Station (ISS) exploded and dispersed about 2 minutes after its take off from Cape Canaveral in Florida.
Fortunately, there was no one on board.
Space X had other failures before, this was important for two reasons:
It is the first time that a Falcon 9 model failed during the launch (after 18 successful missions), and this time the rocket carried 4.000 euros into a load for the ISS.
He also transported Microsoft's HoloLens devices for ISS astronauts. Augmented reality devices were intended to help them complete certain tasks - such as equipment repair work, with the help of a ground expert or training animators.
If the Mission της εκτόξευσης και του ανsupply had gone according to plan, the Falcon 9 would have attempted to land on a pad in the Atlantic Ocean. It's a complicated but critical step toward Space X's goal of creating a reusable rocket. So far both her attempts have ended in failure.
Space X's next reusable missile is scheduled for August 9, although there is currently no update after the current failure.
Watch the video of the failed launch. At 3: 17 you will see the explosion.
