Paweł Pijanowski has announced the release of SparkyLinux 6.0, the latest update to a semi-rolling distribution based on Debian 11's "Stable" branch.
This version has a new addition with the KDE Plasma desktop to the existing series:
The Sparky Linux 6.0 Po Tolo of the semi-rolling series has been released and is based on Debian 'Bullseye'.
Changes:
Packages upgraded from Debian 11 and Sparky Linux test repositories, Firefox 78.13.0 ESR, Thunderbird 78.13.0, VLC 3.0.16, LibreOffice 7.0.4, Calamares 3.2.41.1, Linux kernel 5.10.46 LTS by default . Desktop fonts are now in version 11. Exfatprogs replaced exfat-fuse and exfat-utils to manage exFAT partitions.
