STOP Bullying I want to be a team!

It was successfully conducted by the Electronic Crime Prosecution Directorate during the 1 Panhellenic Conference of the National Olympic Academy (NTHO) of Greece, entitled "STOP Bullying - I Want to Be a Team!" STOP Bullying STOP Bullying

The Hellenic Police Headquarters, in collaboration with the Electronic Crime Prosecutor's Office, participated in an online bullying incident at the 1 Pan-Hellenic Congress of the National Olympic Academy (NTH.O.A.) of Greece entitled "STOP Bullying - I want to be a team!"At 2-6-2015 in the morning.

The conference was addressed to Principals of School Units, Primary and Secondary Education teachers, officials of the Ministry of Education, Culture & Religions and the coordinating committee of the Observatory, executives of the Supreme Council of Athletics, Groups, Psychologists, Social Workers, Parents and Guardians, who wanted to learn more about the phenomenon of school bullying, as well as how to meet the challenges of the digital world and adapt to new data.

The suggestion was made by the Director of the Electronic Crime Prosecution, Major General Emmanuel Sfakianakis, as well as specialized Officers of the Directorate for the Prosecution of Electronic Crime.

The themes developed were:

  • The mission of the Electronic Crime Prosecutor's Office.
  • The purpose of organizing meetings.
  • Internet threats and protection measures.
  • Offenses and the way they are committed through the internet, as well as prevention practices.
  • The phenomenon of Internet bullying and how to deal with it.

At the same time, the objective was to promote the new innovative CYBERKID application, along with the activities of the Electronic Crime Prosecutor's Office, which include the prevention, investigation and repression of crimes and anti-social behaviors committed through the Internet or other electronic means of communication, educating students, teachers and parents about ways to address the challenges of the digital world.
