A new technology could revolutionize the way we charge our batteries smartphones us, laptops and tablets in about two years from now. If everything goes as planned, StoreDot, a start-up from Tel Aviv in about two years we will have chargers capable of lightning fast charging electronic devices us.
For this reason, the company has released a video showing the StoreDot charger in action.
The revolutionary charger uses "biological semiconductors, made from natural organic ingredients called peptides," according to the Wall Street Journal.
The WSJ reports that the StoreDot charger uses chains of amino acids to speed up times chargings.
“The prototype charger is currently the size of a laptop charger computer, but the company says it will reduce its size. The estimated cost will be double that of a normal phone charger. StoreDot reports that commercial production is planned for late 2016.”
