A student from his University Harvard has violated Super Supercomputer (with 14.000 cores) of Ivy League to use it for Dogecoins mining.
According to The Harvard Crimson, a student was banned accesss throughout the university's computer and systems research labs when it was discovered that he had programmed the Odyssey supercomputer to mine Dogecoins.
The Odyssey supercomputer has Intel Xeon processors and is ranked in the top 500 supercomputer list. The system has 14.000 cores and belongs to the Research Harvard's computing office as a high-performance Linux cluster for researchers.

"In fact, all activities that use our common resources for any non-scientific purpose that results in personal gain are also expressly prohibited."
The open-source cryptocurrency, Dogecoin is based on the Litecoin format and is traded at a rate of approximately $0,0012, or 002 MBTC.
