The Cybercrime Prosecution Directorate filed a spontaneous criminal case against two people, as well as a regular lawsuit against one person for child pornography.
Ειδικότερα, στο πλαίσιο προληπτικών δράσεων για την αντιμετώπιση της πορνογραφίας ανηλίκων και μετά από κατάλληλη αξιολόγηση και αξιοποίηση στοιχείων, εντοπίστηκαν χρήστες του διαδικτύου, εντός της ελληνικής επικράτειας, οι οποίοι με χρήση συγκεκριμένων ηλεκτρονικών ιχνών, απέκτησαν πρόσβαση σε διάφορους ιστότοπους – applications and they had a wealth of files with material of sexual abuse of minors available for sharing.
The above were brought to the attention of the Athens Prosecutor's Office and a relevant committee was issued to remove the secrecy of communications, while after correspondence with the internet service providers and the further police preliminary investigation, the data of ebluefollowing persons and their place of residence was obtained.
Following the above, squads of police officers of the Cybercrime Prosecution Directorate, conducted searches in the homes of those involved, where they found and confiscated a total of (3) mobile phones, (4) internal hard drives, and (2) microSD memory cards.
From the field research στα ψηφιακά πειστήρια των δύο συλληφθέντων, βρέθηκαν πλήθος αρχείων (φωτογραφίες και video) of pornography of minors, while for the third offender it emerged that he was involved in illegal activity, without, however, meeting the conditions of the automatic procedure.
The confiscated digital evidence will be sent to the competent Department of the Directorate of Criminological Investigations for further laboratory examination.
The two arrested with the cases against them were taken to the competent Prosecutor and referred to an Investigator, while the case against the third perpetrator was submitted to the competent Prosecutor's Office.
