Μετά από μια πρόσφατη διαρροή development footage από το επόμενο παιχνίδι Grand Theft Auto, με τίτλο Grand Theft Auto 6, η Rockstar Games ζήτησε βοήθεια από την Εθνική Υπηρεσία Εγκλήματος του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου (National Crime Agency).
The investigation carried out by the agency resulted in the arrest of a 17-year-old boy in London.
The teenager, originally from Oxfordshire, is held at the moment as a hacking suspect.
The footage was leaked on GTAForums on Sunday, and included over 90 gameplay snippets of a supposed "test build." The breach, according to authorities, was carried out by the same group that recently gained access to Uber's systems.
Rockstar confirmed the breach but said it did not affect the development of the next version of the popular game. We will of course never know because release dates or other information such as platform availability have yet to be officially announced.
The leaks have confirmed that there will be two main protagonists, as well as the setting of Vice City.
