Following a recent leak of development footage from the next game Grand Theft Auto, titled Grand Theft Auto 6, Rockstar Games requested assistance from the UK's National Crime Agency (National Crime Agency).
The research carried out by service resulted in the arrest of a 17-year-old in London.
The teenager, originally from Oxfordshire, is held at the moment as a hacking suspect.
The footage was leaked on GTAForums on Sunday, and included over 90 gameplay snippets of a supposed "test build." The breach according to the authorities was done by the same group that recently gained access to Uber's systems.
Rockstar confirmed the breach but said it did not affect the development of the next version of the popular game. We will of course never know because release dates or other information such as platform availability have yet to be officially announced.
The leaks have confirmed that there will be two main protagonists, as well as the setting of Vice City.
