SystemInfo is a free, simple, open source computer and operating system information tool for Windows.
Most of you have used an information tool on your system, whether it was the Windows Task Manager or a third-party manufacturer. such as HwInfo. SystemInfo belongs to this type of software and is also open source.
The program is a portable software, ie it does not require installation and so you can simply download its executable file and run it immediately. With this you can see all the hardware information of your system on one page. It is easy to use, can run from a usb flash and is probably ideal if you just bought a new computer and want to immediately see if everything is as you ordered.
There are no settings. It is so simple. SystemInfo lists BIOS / EUFI version name and number, operating system information, CPU model and clock frequency, motherboard model number, total memory and RAM frequency, GPU, monitor, storage (model number and total storage), optical drives, sound card, network card and computer operating time.
SystemInfo has a built-in snapshot storage option that you can access from the File menu. Snapshots are saved in PNG format at a location of your choice. The default file name is saved in the following format: sysinfo-capture-YYYY-MM-DD_@_HH.MM.SS.
If you prefer text-based results, SystemInfo can save the details in HTML, XML or TXT documents. You can also import previously saved XML files. The Hide IP button can be used to hide the IP address, and this is useful when capturing a screenshot of the program and wanting to hide your IP address from prying eyes. The program is written in C ++.
