The Tails, is a live system that aims to preserve your privacy by helping you navigate thenetwork anonymously. Today, the live, live alternative was upgraded to 1.6.
Its developers project report:
"Version 1.6 is an important milestone in the maturity of one free software project. The first public release of Tails was on June 23, 2009, and was called Amnesia. That was almost five years ago.”
New features
- Upgrade to Tor Browser in version 5.0.3 (based on Firefox 38.3.0 ESR).
- Upgrade to I2P in version 0.9.22 and activation of the AppArmor profile.
