The Tails Project has released the live OS Tails 7.4.1, a live operating system that runs from any computer without leaving a trace on the machine or on the internet.
This particular Tails operating system was used by former NSA employee Edward Snowden to remain hidden on the internet.
To use Tails, stop your computer, and start the anonymous operating system from a USB stick instead of Windows, macOS, or Linux. This is how you turn your computer into a very secure machine. You will be safe even if you use someone else's computer.
This release is based on Debian GNU/Linux 13 “Trixie”, and contains important security updates . Therefore, it is a good idea to update immediately.
