Tails Project: Tails 5.17.1 Internet Anonymity (Security Update)

The Tails Project released the live OS Tails 5.17.1, a live operating system which runs from any computer without leaving any traces on the machine or on the internet.

This particular operating Tails was used by her former employee NSA Edward Snowden to stay hidden on the internet.

To use Tails, shut down your computer, and start the anonymous operating system from a USB stick instead of starting with Windows, macOS, or Linux.

This is how you turn your computer into a very secure machine. You'll be safe even if you're using someone else's computer.

What's new;

This version contains important security updates, so it would be good to inform immediately (CVE-2023-4863: Heap buffer overflow in libwebp).
