Η TalkTalk announced a major breach that occurred on its networks, and according to information may lead to the interception of banking information of its customers by hackers. For those who don't know, the company is a leading internet service provider in Britain. 
With an e-mail sent to its customers, the company said it noticed a sharp increase in malicious scam that claimed to be from TalkTalk towards the end of last year. For this reason, the company created a page scam reporting, to protect its customers.
Following a survey she found out that some of her customer's details, such as their name, address, phone and bills, could have leaked, the BBC said.
The company said in a statement: "At TalkTalk we take the safety of our customers very seriously and we have taken many steps to keep our customers safe. As part of our ongoing security effort, we are constantly monitoring our systems and processes; after further research into these reports, we have now discovered that a limited amount of non-sensitive information about some of our customers could have been leaked. ”
"We want to reassure our customers that information such as bank account information is not sensitive and that TalkTalk corporate customers are not affected."
There is currently no public leakage through an underground forum, although the violation should have occurred since December of 2014, as reported by Guardian.
